Life’s Journey ~ Day 22 ~ Final day :-(

Well, the end has come…I did not make it the full 30 days.  I started failing pretty fast the last couple of days and my husband was extremely worried that I had gone too far.  So my official tally is 21 1/2 days.  In the bigger picture, that sounds incredible.  Now I just have to get myself past all the self bashing.

I feel like I have let so many people down.  I made such a big deal out of going the full 30 days and so many people have been watching and praying for me.  I found my connection to God about a week ago, so I accomplished the main goal I set out to, I needed to get right with God.  I have found myself praying more, soul-searching and just basically discovering myself in God’s world.  I am grasping onto that now as I battle the demons of failure.  They keep whispering in my head about how I failed.  I let everyone down.  How they knew I couldn’t finish yet another task that I have started.  These are the same demons that tell me that I am unworthy of the success that Mona-Vie will bring me.  That I don’t deserve to have nice things and not worry about my bills.  That I am not good enough to offer help to those less fortunate than me.  These are the voices that up until now I chose to listen to exclusively and allow myself to drown in the darkness they bring.  But no more!

Today I offer myself to the world as a contender.  I will no longer hide in the shadows and wallow in self pity.  I will no longer allow myself to be brought down by anyone or anything.  I have to believe that God has big plans for me and that I have to stand up to the task.

My biggest motivations for succeeding with Mona-Vie are:

1) The phenominal health it has brought to my family.  I would feel extreme guilt if I did not at least attempt to share this with anyone and everyone I know.

2) My nephew.  He is autistic and my sister has lived somewhat of a nightmare trying to get him taken care of in school.  My nephew is a joy and he is not the source of my sister’s struggles.  The trouble is getting him schooled.  I want to be able to fund a safe and long term center for autistic children and adults.

3) I need to prove to myself that I can finish something I start and this is going to be it.  My fast has just proven to me that the Mona-Vie is an extraordinary product.  Without it I would not have made it this far.  People can say whatever they want about the cost, but you are not going to find anything with this kind of nutritional value for any less, especially something that will pay you!!

So, as I end my fast and start moving forward, I pray that I will continue to honor God in all I do and I pray for the best for all of you!!  I invite you to at least consider the benefits and the opportunity that Mona-Vie offers.  What do you have to lose?  Less than $300 investment for your health and the potential to become financially secure.  There is no other opportunity out there that can offer you more.

Thanks for coming by!  God Bless!

What’s your decision???

A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards
sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said “I don’t
think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something
to eat.”

‘Is the man of the house home?’, they asked.

‘No’, she replied. ‘He’s out.’

‘Then we cannot come in’, they replied.

In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened.

‘Go tell them I am home and invite them in!’

The woman went out and invited the men in.

‘We do not go into a House together,’ they replied. ‘Why is that?’ she
asked.

One of the old men explained: ‘His name is Wealth,’ he said pointing to one
of his friends, and said pointing to another one, ‘He is Success, and I am
Love.’ Then he added, ‘Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of
us you wa nt in your home.’

The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was
overjoyed. ‘How nice!!’, he said. ‘Since that is the case, let us invite
Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!’

His wife disagreed. ‘My dear, why don’t we invite success?’

Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of the house. She
jumped in with her own Suggestion: ‘Would it not be better to invite Love?
Our home will then be filled with love! ‘

‘Let us heed our daughter-in-law’s advice,’ said the husband to his wife.

‘Go out and invite Love to be our guest.’

The woman went out and asked the 3 old men, ‘Which one of you is Love?
Please come in and be our guest.’

Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other 2 also got up
and followed him. Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success: ‘I only
invited Love, why are you coming in?’

The old men replied together: ‘If you had invit ed Wealth or Success, the
other two of us would’ve stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever He
goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and
Success!!!!!!’

MY WISH FOR YOU…

– Where there is pain, I wish you peace, mercy & healing.

-Where there is self-doubting, I wish you a renewed confidence in your
ability to work through it.

-Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion, I wish you understanding,
patience, and renewed strength.

-Where there is fear, I wish you love, and courage.

So, you don’t believe in Jesus?

I have been doing a lot of thinking about the world and the damage done in the name of religion. Being a former Catholic with Jewish family (that is another story) I can tell you that I have not had a lot of ‘faith in religion’ most of my life. Until a couple of years ago, I lived my life day to day believing in God and Jesus but not interested in judgemental, hypocratical religions. Having found the Methodist religion I have found my place in the ‘religious’ world. The Methodist denomination teaches of a loving God, a forgiving God and a Jesus that came to save sinners or the lost not condemn them further. Jesus took all the rules/laws in the Bible and cut them down to two basic things. Love God. Love your neighbor as yourself. If you are a spiritual person, following these two rules would make it impossible to break any of the other ‘commandments’ listed in the old testament. Now, if you are NOT religious or spiritual, I have a simple question for you…

Even if you don’t believe in Jesus, God or any diety, what bad can come out of treating your neighbor the same way you would want to be treated? OK, before all you ‘dedicated’ christians come at me with, “The only way to heaven is through Jesus and you shouldn’t be encouraging anything but belief in Jesus” stuff, keep in mind that we have christians fighting christians out there so what kind of example are we setting to anybody? Jesus said to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, house the homeless, teach the children, forgive and be forgiven. You don’t have to believe in Jesus to know that these things need to be done. You don’t have to believe in God to feel the need to help a starving child.

Look, MY beliefs are in God and Jesus. That is my choice. But Jesus doesn’t tell me that I can’t help non-believers. He says that I am to share the light of His love with the world. If in doing this I am able to lead others to believe in Him than that is great!! But if all it does it help someone else out, get them through a bad day or a tough time, then so be it. It is NOT MY PLACE to judge others and it is NOT FOR ME TO DECIDE who is going to heaven or hell. Since I believe in God, I feel that He will make the final decision for all at the end. For those to don’t believe, my first thought is, “you’d better be right!” Then my next thought is, they are still my brother or sister on this planet and we only get a short time here, why would I want to spend it fighting, judging, or hating???

Of the three religions that do most of the fighting: Christian, Jewish and Muslim, we all believe in the same God. The differences after that are what? Jesus, Moses and Abraham? All of these men believed in the same God. Jesus did not tell us that we were to honor Him, He said we were to honor God, follow God. Now here is where the pesky christians will say the Jesus did say that the only way to God is through Him. I believe that is because Jesus died for our sins. If he had not done so we would never have been able to be in the presence of God. While we could never be worthy of God, Jesus has made that unneccesary because He has absolved us of our sins and that has allowed us to to be children of God.

Even if you don’t believe that Jesus is our Savior, you cna’t possibly find fault with any of His teachings. He taught love, kindness, forgiveness. He did not teach hate, violence, judgement. So I say to again…”So, you don’t believe in Jesus? Is there any reason you can’t believe the love and kindness and forgiveness He stood for? How will that hurt your world? How could that be a bad thing?”

Yes, in my belief I am supposed to help people find their way to believing in Jesus. But again, that doesn’t mean I can’t help those who do not believe nor can I judge their decision not to. What about you? Can you give me a good reason not to help someone? I’m open to coherent comments on this subject, but let me remind you that all comments are read before posting and I will not post anything that is vulgar or rude or full of profanity. I want this blog to remain a safe place to come and you never know who’s child is looking over their shoulder.

Thank you for listening, ummm reading, and for stopping by. God Bless!!

Marigold’s Plea

Hello All,

Even though I can be a bossy pony I know you all still love me anyway.  After all, who could resist my cute good looks? As many of you know I don’t sweat so the summer gets soooooo hot for me! Many of my buddies out here tell me they are hot too.  Especially Titan since he can’t sweat either. On hot summer days the only way all of us can get comfortable is to have two fans on us since we don’t have air conditioning (I’m thinking we should have air conditioning, what’s up with that?).  Unfortunately almost all of the fans from last summer are either broken or almost broken so we need some help.  Is there anyone who could help us by bringing us some fans?  It sure would be COOL! 🙂

See you next time you are out!

Marigold and all her Freedom Ride horse pals

As some of you may know, I have a soft spot in my heart for horses. If you check out my Freedom Ride page you find out more about an organization that has also won my heart. The above staement is a plea for fans for the horses there. Florida summers can be extremely rough and these animals can only do so much for themselves. If you can find it in your heart to maybe send them a donation for the purpose of buying fans, I would be forever grateful to your kindness and compassion.

Thank you for stopping by and God Bless!!
